This version has received manual testing. It has passed current automated testing, which is not comprehensive. If no new critical bugs are found in the week following public release, this Release Candidate will be the final version of OpenACS 5.0.0. This version is tagged in CVS as oacs-5-0-0rc1. The OpenACS core team has decided to relax several release criteria: the language translations in this package lag several months behind work on the public translation server, and the upgrade process from 4.6.3 requires manual intervention. +
