Templates Tutorial : Creating a Template in CMS

Developers can create templates in CMS and later edit them by uploading files and/or entering text into a web browser.

Browse to the folder where the new template will be created.
Click the "New Template" button (see Figure 1).

- Name is an identifier for the template and must be unique within the parent folder. The name of the template may not contain any non alpha-numeric characters other than "-" and "_".
- Output Type corresponds to the desired MIME type of the template. As of now, CMS only supports HTML text for Output Type.
Click "Create" to create the template and "Cancel" to return to the previous page without creating a new template.

Clicking the "Create" button results in a new template being created in the current folder. The template has one revision with <html></html> as the body.
